Who the “H” do you think you are?!

So one thing that always stays with me is when a comedian says something that speaks truth in a brilliant joke. A good comedian can bring the joke. A great comedian delivers the joke and makes you really think about what was just said. Comedy is a form of art and is also a way to bring light on life’s events being those experience’s could be shared and many can relate. That’s what makes us laugh. Reflecting on life and those mistakes. And since being a human that makes mistakes is our birthright how is it possible judgments are so easily thrown? Is the act of judging redundant?

Let’s face it. Bad decisions in life are made. Mistakes happen. The disconnect occurs when those errors are made and judgments are passed. Then the right of imperfection is no longer equally shared. In order for this to take place someone has to be in possession of “The Gavel”. What is “The Gavel”? Well figuratively speaking it’s the deluded idea of one being so pristine in all matters in life as well as being free of error leaving them the right to judge others. And since judgments passed are a common occurrence who is the Gavels rightful owner? Who has it been granted to or better yet who steps up and says “I’ve got this”? Taking the oath is a major responsibility. To be awarded or to take authority over “The Gavel” knowing you can no longer exercise your birthright is an ongoing task that takes away from the individuals life experiences. And life in whatever way it was intended for each individual is there own life journey. To be judged for being a human is inhuman. It’s not fair and can’t ever be fair. The point is to be mindful when forming and sharing your opinion about other humans and the way they exercise their birthright. Unless of course it is your honor.

“The Gavel” is a figure of speech and my interpretation of judgement in society and how it affects human thinking and acting. Not speaking at all in terms of any system of Courts, Courtrooms or Justice’s of The Peace.

I hope this read is like that brilliant joke.
