Tips: Gain change to lose weight

Before relying on diet plans, pills, groups, instructors, machines, apps and/or videos to assist in losing weight, losing the habits that hinder your success must be conquered first. Afterall in every battle there are smaller feats. If you have the desire to make the change and are ready to make moves then your result will be rewarded with constant successes. But the key word is (dun..dun..dun) change. Yes change can be a pain to maintain but anything worth doing will have challenging adjustment periods. And none of the spoken methods above can change change. So to put things in prospective order below are 7 steps to begin that process.

  1. Do an honest self evaluation.
  2. On a blank sheet of paper write out your unique positives.
  3. Then write your specific weight loss goals in order starting with most urgent desire ( eg. booming butt) to least (eg. average arms).
  4. Take time to really meditate on your goals imagining where you want to be and go forward with positive thinking (I’ll give my best to get my desired success!)
  5. For 7 consecutive days write out 1 thing you can do toward accomplishing an urgent desire. (Remember the focus is changing habits that are hindering. Consistently writing goals will facilitate a changed mindset).
  6. Share your goals with others.
  7. Take a few moments to celebrate your commitment( Go me! Go me!) in taking steps for that goal.
