Music For Life
As summer adorns us and the need for less articles of clothing is apparent so does the burst of energy flowing through the fellow pavement pushers on my morning run. I notice the way we all do it. It becomes almost a given this time of year. The no choice I must look great factor. Some were able to sustain since 1/1. Some need that upcoming event to scare the crap out of them to light the fire. Even then getting in gear is not easy. So, what now? Well you can try to ignore the inevitable but it won’t change the fact that sometimes being motivated is a struggle. One way to get the motor revived is with music.
Music is my remedy whenever I need a kick in the butt. I use it as therapy for some of life’s best and worst moments. It takes me out of that dormant state and makes me want to move. Since our bodies have the ability to naturally produce serotonin (Serotonin is a chemical that has a wide variety of functions in the human body. It is sometimes called the happy chemical, because it contributes to wellbeing and happiness) creating opportunities to get feeling good should be taken advantage of. Music can be linked to producing serotonin in the body. So why not give yourself the gift of music.
